Maritime Public Domain Service
Investment in and control of maritime public property along the coast, port facilities, lighthouses and their maintenance.
About the service
The Maritime Public Property Department follows up the occupation of maritime public property along Lebanon's roughly 225 km of coastline, and controls the licences and occupancies established on it.
Facilities and maintenance works fall under it, including the upkeep of the lighthouses that safeguard navigation along the coast, in coordination with the port authorities and concerned bodies.
