Land Transport Service
Border crossing points and transit permits, truck haulier and transport broker licensing, and transport tariffs.
About the service
The Land Transport Service regulates and licenses land transport, and oversees operations at the five main border crossing points where movements are classified as inbound or outbound, issuing transit permits and setting their durations and conditions.
It handles truck haulier licences and transport broker authorisations and their annual renewal, permits for goods carried on non-Lebanese and refrigerated trucks, and the transport tariffs set by official decision.
It also follows up works above and below railway property, and trusteeship and overland foreign trade affairs.
